Day 63, boring muscle theory, some 3 minute gesture drawings and I drew
Batman in my style, I don´t like that he always looks grumpy
Superheroes in general are not my thing but it was fun to draw him

every seventh strip of this comic will be in color. it's imitating old comic strips like Calvin and Hobbes, so the seventh strip represents the 'sunday funny'

Great idea.
I´m still playing with the thought of just hiring someone for my
bigger project that I will start publishing in 2026 and just focus
on everything else. It´s so much when you have to do when
you think about it

what sort of project are you planning to start?

Made another 15 minute croquis yesterday

I also touched up Chili's face a little bit

The project goal is to publish printed comics.
I´m doing all the preparation work now so I have everything ready when
I start drawing. All character sheets, 3d backgrounds, poses, all episodes,
storyboards and so on. It´s fun to prepare everything for a big project
and it´s also good to have some time but still something like a deadline.
(January 2026)

The books will be kind of a slice of life in an office setting with all kind
of themes like relationships, intrigues, jealousy, romance and humour.
Comparable with the Netflix series Mad Men but more cartoony.

What estimated content rating will the story have?

Definitely for adults, 18+
I think the Mad Men comparison works well, MM is 18+ too
and has similiar themes

Ah, that makes sense. I don't know anything about Mad Men so the reference didn't help me xd

Yeah, I guess I wanted to say that it´s adult themed but in a way like it could be shown on
Netflix

Day 64 already, you had a good idea starting this thread, it´s interesting to see
developement in 100 days or keep track what you are working on or learned.

I tried out to draw Tintin in 5 minutes, I will be part of a life drawing art thing in my
hometown and 3 other illustrators and me will be sitting in something which looks like
a machine from the outside. People write down prompts and we will draw those prompts.
I wanted to try out if I can copy a comic figure in 5 minutes or if I need more time.

Then I did some boring muscle theory again, tomorrow will be more excting because
the lessons skips to visible muscles. Tomorrow´s lesson is the Serratus. A muscle
I never understood and I can´t draw right now

Serratus muscle and a figure drawing doodle without measuring the proportions so it
turned out exeggerated but I like it

Day 66. I´m learning about the abs today. I have been studying a lot in
the last weeks. And I try to remember one simple thing per day instead
of learning too much. Yesterday I repeated the pelvis area in front view.
I´ll do the back view later

I did some coloring today and I don´t have time for muscle studies.
It looks better so far than it feels doing this. Coloring always feels
like a complete mess
