Are you guys talking about those pickles?
My mum is from Silesia (west poland nowadays) and those pickles
have their origin there. I don´t love them but I also don´t dislike them.
I probably wouldn´t buy them. 80 year old people love them for
some reason. I wouldn´t know with what I would I eat them because
I rarely eat bread.

Sometimes German does sound funny but my first introduction to it was actually this

And I was only hearing it in the cd playing in the car, and as a child with not a whole lot of references, I mistook it for an indigenous language because it sounded similar to ones in the area I grew up and my dad was like “lol this is German”

He also did grow up in Appleton Wisconsin and there were a lot of immigrants from Germany there

He doesn´t have the typical strong german accent that I exspected. His english is also very
good imo. He was probably fluent in some languages
