@Leyelle Omggg is the sketch from a few posts back of the character you’ve only drawn once before of the major antagonist for the story about the phants? Thats interesting you’ve drawn her only a couple of times, I was like that with one my anatomists despite him playing a large role in my stories like your deity lady does too… maybe we’re more superstitious then we realize I’m glad to report that I’ve been drawing him a lot this year I have not been affected negatively too badly lol

I was trying to figure out how someone would draw a scared expression without the mouth open!! I hadn’t realized how often the expression is depicted with an open mouth so I doodled around to figure out things because it was kind of stumping me too because the expression starts to read more like discomfort or disgust? Sort of like a cringing face!

Maybe the direction of her eyes can give a better context that she is in the midst of some sort of horror though! I found that if I put the pupils looking more downward, it emphasized the shock in the face? But also maybe if we get more context in the story either through written text or other images it might read more easily that she is scared. Sometimes it’s just kind of hard to tell an expression when there is no context around it, so the face you have drawn could work maybe it just needs to be within a story so people can understand it more easily. She does read very uncomfortable either way though as it is >: poor thing!! What is Doris witnessing anyways

XD, drawing a goddess is scary. what if I don't do her justice and make her mad 🤣. But yes, that's the antagonist from the story about the phants. Our beautiful but horrific goddess. Which antagonist did you rarely draw? That black entity guy?

Also yes, horror is so often drawn like full on screaming it's tricky to draw mute horror TT. I definitely don't want her to look disgusted but it's hard to draw the mouth twisted expression of someone trying not to scream, or make any vocalized sound of horror. Moving her gaze off center might work

But you know what Doris is going through XD. She's the FMC of 'What To Expect When You're Expecting Shedding Sxin.' I wanted to depict the kind of horror I'd imagine on her face when she sees coworkers wearing Sxin jewelry

I have to confess that I really dig this song, even though I don´t listen to synthie pop.
It´s so 80s the songwriting is really good

Just 10 days left to decide on the new year´s resolutions.
I have several ideas. I like the idea of making the character turnaround daily.
Maybe I´ll add a head turn around. It only makes sense when I don´t rush
through it and also take my time to work on it and try to make things better
the next day.

I did a promotion poster for my Elvis tribute band today. Then I did some random drawing practice,
now I will work on my comic. Finished page 1 yesterday and will do part writing / part sketching
today. The good thing is 1) it plays at the beach, so I don´t need much background 2) I have most
of it already done as a rough sketch, I just have edit and change some things.
