I think I've grown quite a bit. I made a lot of artist friends this year and they have helped me grow a lot!! I also have learned how to use CSP a lot better and feel like I have a better handle on just about all aspects of this comic making thing. I still know I have a lot to learn and grow, but I'm having a lot of fun right now ^_^

2018 is the year I've decided to take webcomic art seriously.
I started a series, hated the art style and pacing of the story, rebooted the whole thing and began again.

Now I'm four chapters in and am struggling to balance my day job and publishing in a timely manner....

Despite everything I'm happy with my improvement so far.
I'm planning to use these first 7 comic chapters (about 1 every 10 days) to settle on a "standard" art style and go from there.

About my art style I feel it has improved a lot, I've been drawing constantly for one and a half year, buut I still struggle to draw hands and backgrounds

I feel like I've learned so much from other artist around me and life in general, like how to use camera angles and short cuts more in my work. At the same time i feel I've been stuck in a limbo with my comic, and lately my motivation has really been suffering lately with my anxiety and stress i bring to myself..... but i feel like i can get better tho, but that's why there's always room to improve. there's still 6 more months i hope it gets better. =_=

I know how that is a lot of people think me and my wife are crazy for working on 10 comics at once without any help.
Honestly sometimes i don't even know how we do it just know we got to continue to prove to ourselves that we can do anything we put our mind to.
We want to prove that nothing can limit us and the point i'm trying to make is that we all have times where our motivation lacks and stress gets to us. That comes with any hobby, job or something your just passionate for.
You just have to always remind yourself "I Want This" "I Can Do This" "I Will Improve And Things Will Get Better"
It's all in the mind you have to constantly remind yourself why you love doing your comic and that it will all pay off in the end.
I know it's not always easy, but if you remind yourself what you're doing all the work for it should start to help motivate you to press on.

I stopped aiming for the stars and shoot for the moon instead. Spending ten years on a single story in a huge universe meant the world to me but it doesn't mean jack shit to the average person looking for something new to read. It took a long, long time to realize that I just need to stop caring as much.

My ability to plot stories has accelerated now, too, and I can only think it's because of a calibrated attitude. This comes at the perfect time because ten years is not a healthy production schedule.
