You're definitely missing Pinterest and specially YouTube, it's huge!! And there is so little competition in the sense that artists who do comics are a few because usually they don't like editing videos.
YouTube is a long game, but only those who push through it make it!
Take H.C. Brown or Coffee Table Comics, which are huge YouTube channels and thanks to that they have been able to grow a super large comic audience. Be aware that Holly Brown has more suscribers because she also talks of other things other than comics, so many of her fans like HER more than her comics, but are willing to fully support her because of that- (To me that's success).
Now Coffee Table Comics has had their comic featured on Webtoons and is super informative! But because he's the typical man, grown up, much more serious and only talking about comics he has less suscribers. (Love him anyway just being clear)
