ME: Hey y'all! I'm Sarah, I'm currently a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in Sequential Art. I'm currently working on my BFA, though I'm going to stick around and get my Master's with the goal of teaching at SCAD to become a professor in the Sequential Department. I love teaching other people about comics and techniques and am really looking forward to the chance to foster a love for comic art in other people.

When I'm not drawing or reading comics, I'm playing video games, watching cooking competition shows, and hanging out with my stinky, cuddly Boston Terrier, Sir Francis Bacon.

MY COMIC: My webcomic series is Hollow, which is about a guy named Skyler who used to be an anime-style magical hero when he was fourteen, chosen to collect and seal the magical Amulets. But after he sealed the final Amulet, his magical animal companion vanished, his battle team broke up, the magic in his life was gone, and Skyler found himself trying to live a normal life. It's now six years later, and Skyler is finally starting to get his shit together, leaving the house, going to college, and working a retail job like a "normal" person. But just when he finally starts getting back into the world, a new magic appears. Skyler is out of practice and his magic is rusty, but he is determined to put a stop to this new mysterious magic before it gets too dangerous. And on top of everything else, his old battle companion Levi comes back with no explanation. What can all of this mean?

Hey, thanks for making this thread!

And hello all! I am kaiyaweird on the internet, and Pegeen for realsies. I love art and making comics, I've always wanted to tell stories with my creative work. Right now, the only comic I have is a simple, slice of life/ relatable comic. But I hope to someday soon have a story/narrative webcomic up and running. I have several in the works.
My goals for the new year are to grow my readership/viewership and to create much much more work than I did in 2019.

Here is my current comic: https://tapas.io/series/littlescenesfromnowhere

And here are a couple of places where you can find more of my work:

And some art

Good stuff  I commented on one of the pages. and I'll still have to read through it but I like your style, expressions and background detail

I am Crystal Avery, I'm 25 and i want to atleast be remembered for something in the future

My decade goal is to get more of my comic done, get my life together, maybe get some extra money on the side (since my mom died, the bills has been taking everything, i dont get any money to myself :p)

I make the comic series Royal, a rather quirky comic about magic people going to a magic school, the story is rather chaotic in the beginning but it gets more balanced in time XD

people say its funny XDD i cant really tell myself, its like a mix of a lot of genres

Lol! Mine is the same way! :joy: My characters look pretty wacky! But the series will have some seriousness to it. It's a Comedy /Superhero /Action  I can't wait to give it a try!

Hello! My name is Laura and I am currently writing a webcomic.
The link is right here!

Hello, I'm Carossmo  I'm a 2D animator/cartoonist. Started my webcomic series since 2013 but only manage to upload them last 2017.

My goal is uploading the comics not only on Tapas, but on Webtoons as well, making a Patreon and fixing my Ko-Fi. Will also do a bunch of merch as well.

Here's the link to my comic:

If you like my stuff, here's my Ko-Fi:

This is a nice thread btw~ thanks for this!

No problem! I've checked out your stuff! It's pretty sweet! I just followed your facebook page! And so far I really like what I see! I'll make sure to give your comic a try!

Hi, everyone

My name is Kevin, I'm 26, and I've been writing basically my whole life. As a gay guy, I grew up being bullied and judged; superheroes and magic was my escape, which is why I'm a big Marvel and Harry Potter head

As a writer, the series I've spent my whole life developing is called KRZ. It's a dark-fantasy/action series with LGBT+ elements, starring a gay protagonist and featuring a number of bisexual, lesbian, gender fluid, and transgender characters!!! As I said before, I'm a big Marvel and Harry Potter head; superheroes and magic saved me, so I hope that one day, KRZ can save other kids who are going through bullying and judgment like I did.

Hey I'm Marlene, but you can call me Awesomness Studios (or whatever shorted version of that you wish). I like writing funny comics with characters that are anything but human. When I grow up, I want to work on cartoons and hopefully pitch some too (I already have some ideas ).

I'm currently focused on making miniseries since I have way too many ideas for comics. My current series is called The Four Friendly Humors, which is basically a comedy that personifies the four humors of non-modern medicine.

Thanks for the thread!!

Hello everyone! Bunnysama here! We're an artist couple from Malaysia, making comics have always been our life long dreams. We have been preparing our webcomic Lovey Dovey Rumble for the pass 6 months, and decided to publish it on our wedding day , which was 3 weeks ago!

Our goal on 2020 is to get paid making webcomics, its not doing much now but we're patient and hopeful!

To summarize Lovey Dobey Rumble .....Well imagine Pokemon, but instead of training pokemon, you train your Bf/Gf to fight others! Its a wacky and crazy story.

Hoia! My name is Quill and I've been drawing stories for almost all my life. I adore creating worlds especially with mythic creatures and how they could even evolved to exist the way they do...I tend to go a little overboard creating these worlds and their history so given the chance I will ramble on and on about irrelevant things.
I work as a scenic artist so it's a bit interesting going from large painting do small digital however this also means I am obsessed with texture and patterns.
Honestly I have the need to do so many that they are kind of hard to draw.

I am currently making one comic which is a rewrite of Disney's Little Mermaid as I disliked many things and wanted a different version. Then I realized, I am art person, I can do this for myself. I call it The Mermaid Scorned and I update it once a week every Saturday.

Hello there! It is great to see a post that has been made to help creators. I am Soham, 25 years old and I am from India. I am currently thinking about career options as I have completed my Masters. I never wanted to make comics as such but I accidentally stumbled upon webtoon and downloaded the app...I liked it and then found tapas and I became a fan of it. The thing I loved most is the opportunity to create your own comic and reach the readers of this app. I normally enjoy thrillers and horror genre...though being on the app for some time, I came across some hilarious comedy and slice of life comics like 'Cassandra comics' and 'Sarah's Scribbles'...both of which depict the daily lives of girls and women. That is when I felt that someone should come forward to tell the stories of men and things seen through a man's perspective and started drawing( after 14 years ) for the comic with my next to none painting prowess on my mobile.
I hope people find it funny. Well, this was a bit long, sorry.
Happy New Year in advance to all of you!
