This is huge. My professor for the illustration class I told always said, "it's never right the first time, always expect to make multiple drafts before committing to an illustration." It seems crazy, but its so true. Each page of my comic gets sketched out at least twice, then sent to the writer. She has her thoughts, then I modify. Even before that, we sit together and thumbnail out each chapter. There is so much that goes into pre-production.
