A New Comic! Feedback?

Hello! My name is Madi and I'm new here, I wanted to put my newer comic Deserted Flowers out here. I was hoping to find some feedback or interaction with other artists! I'm looking for ways to connect with more people and share my work c:

This comic is kind of a different style than what I usually do, but I figured the practice and experience of working on a comic/project would help my artistic style grow. I am almost done with the 4 part introduction; It needs polishing but I am proud of it so far! Let me know what you guys think!

Greetings Madi! Nice to meet you. I too am a new user to Tapastic and posting a webcomic of my own

I enjoyed what you have posted so far of your comic Deserted Flowers, and have subscribed! (I figure that alone is probably more meaningful than throwing too many compliments around) The story is off to a dramatic start, and I'm intrigued about what is to come. It will be interesting to see things as the narrative has chance to slow down, and characters develop together.

I read it on my iphone, by the way - so a relatively small screen compared to a PC. The colours popped nicely and everything was perfectly distinguishable. So good job!! Looking forward to more content.

Do you have a release schedule in mind for Deserted Flowers?? I'm currently trying to create as much of a backlog of comics as possible for scheduled daily updates (or maybe just weekday updates, we'll see how it goes)

I'm not really quite sure what the best kind of schedule is for this format!

No problem, I love seeing other people's comics!! I've actually been trying to determine a schedule, but with school it's been a little hard to specify how often I upload; I think I'll be trying to shoot for weekly updates with the amount of schoolwork I have. I will most likely have the next page up by the end of the weekend, though c:

If I were to update daily (which I don't think I personally could do, unfortunately :c) I think starting out with weekday updates would be a good way of getting used to a schedule without getting too overwhelmed quickly!

The only reason I can even consider a daily (or weekday) schedule is because my art style is SO DANG SIMPLISTIC for this comic!! Haha For work that is more detailed, such as your own, I imagine that even a weekly schedule is a challenging one.

Haha yeah, I guess the scheduling really just depends on each comic and the process of it all! Well, here I was reading it thinking 'this is sweet' and boom, it got all dark and nasty. I subbed though so that probably says a lot about me. Curious to see where this goes. I like the art style, but what I really like was how bright and nice the first page was and how 2 and 3 had this darker feel to it. Almost like a slight sepia filter was put over them. It's a good snap change sort of thing. I also really like the banner for your comic. Not enough purple is used anymore.

I've also got a new comic out which I'm trying to drum up interest for... and failing. Ha! B.O.O.M. (Band of Outrageous Misfits)

Thank you so much!! I'm very happy to hear that the contrast of colors worked well for the comic, I've been wondering if it's been the right fit for it all; and it will definitely vary in the future. And thank you for the sub, it really means a lot!

I checked out your comic and I find it very interesting! I really like the display of quantity in the first page, and how you add pops of color to some panels. I want to find out what happens next!
