that's fair, i am not super familiar with bitcoin or other forms of cryptocurrency which probably roots my distrust of them.
however i am still very bothered by the sites lack of foresight for copyright protection. yes, other individuals can snag your work and repost it for profit (and in those instances, almost every major content website has a plan in place for providing legal resources and recourse as seen here, here, and here) but im more worried of the lack of this type of language
those are taken from tapastic, tumblr, and deviantart respectively. they ensure that despite your use of their platform, you remain the sole owner of your intellectual property and the website/company cannot profit off of or claim the content as their own without prior consent from the owner. that being said, tumblr has a provision that they can alter and repost your content as they wish (with notice to the creator) primarily as a measure to ensure they can promote both parties on other social media platforms (ie facebook, insta, etc) but thats also why i don't post my longform comic on there.
i hope the website proves me wrong and it does turn out to be as good as it seems. and since it's still in beta that they will come forward with these measures soon! but until then, i'm gonna stay on the sidelines
