The average video ad costs the advertiser about $.30/engagement. So if you watch for more than :15 or click the ad, the advertiser pays YouTube $.30 and YouTube then gives a cut to that channel's owner.

As for Twitter they are finally turning a small profit. They finished 2017 with net income of $38.7M.

Even if YT made 15B in 2018, that doesn't tell us if it's profitable, but I'll grant you that my claim is based of an interview with the CEO from 2015, so you could be right that they are finally turning a profit, as is Twitter finally, and if they are then they turn out to be yet more example for @niah146 of tech companies that take this route of operating for many years at a loss before they finally turn a profit.

in terms of the experiment, its daily, and it be easy to schedule the episodes by reusing the same white canvas, as long as you write down the daily total results in some kind of graph, which is no biggy since Tapas already offers graphs

I can pretty safely say that everyone here at Tapastic is real. I know I have a high quality comic. 50 subs in 6 months. By comparison, I have 6000 on line webtoon.

@Im_moron have you tried asking them in your description to say something specific in the comments, just to test things out?

@Im_moron , i think there is a next step in the experiment to make sure of the authenticity of readers is considering that probably, blank pages will eventually get old. This may be an ironic fad, but what happens when the "joke" gets old?, will it lose engagement? or will it become bigger??

We live in a "dank culture" where ironic enjoyment is stronger than ever at the point of becoming genuine enjoyment. So it makes sense at first is catching some attention. But we also live in a culture of fast pacing fads....If it keeps growing after it gets old, what does this says about the audience?

Don`t let this get you down. I think you can use this experience as an inspiration for really angsty. It would be hillarious to see R.A. competing against a random deity writing blank pages.
