Incredibly mad.
I'm J. Brenton Parker, I published Twisted Tales, Breaking Magic, and Remember Me. I did pretty okay, trended regularly, ended up on the Staff Pick's list. Haven't been very active recently.
Well, I got an email alerting me that the email account linked to my Tapas account had been changed.
Not asking me to confirm the change, or asking me if I has requested and email change. Just telling me, oh, too late, it's been changed!
Someone must have figured out my email and brute force hacked my password, and just changed the associated email account so I couldn't get back in.
Fortunately nothing has happened with the account yet, but now someone has total access to much of my work, including stuff I've actually self published. I keep emailing Tapas (and the automated response says questions about accounts get answered in 24 to 48 hours), but I haven't gotten a single response yet.
How do I get someone to TALK TO ME? I either want the account back or I want it deleted, I don't care, but I can't even get an email response! So mad, and I just want my intellectual property back in my control.
