Ace characters, do you have 'em? (pride month revision)

I'm ace, but I've found I enjoy romance (no experience in person, but in stories, kinda new thing for me)
Hadn't given a lot of thought about pinning sexual identities for my characters, tbh. But there will be romance way later down the line, that'll be fun...

My main, Friar, is celibate, but he does have feelings/temptations to deal with, despite being a capon. Bucky wants to mate year-round, and he's all about the hens...or at least he is in his head. (He's very bad at courting, so...) There's a bit of a bromance between these two, but unfortunately, they are destined for other fates.

To my knowledge, I don't have any ace/aro characters yet - chicken or human, but I kinda chuckle at the idea of an ace rooster who has no feelings/urges towards the hens...We'll see?

Apparent Secrets has an ace character, but I won't spoil which person it is. It's been fantastic seeing the variety of characters, preferences, and representations that have become more widely available in the last few years. "Back in my day"/Many moons ago, there was mostly heteronormative literature on bookshelves, and I couldn't see myself or many of my peers in the characters on offer. Props to all of the creative writers out there, sharing their stories and their rich characters with us.

Julian is pan-romantic demisexual, although they're a bit on the romantically constipated side atm due to trauma and how they grew up. Originally they were supposed to be pansexual, but they didn't organically develop that way, the further I got into the story the more unnaturally it felt. I guess I was just too ace myself to do a pan. Lol

I'm not ace, but some of my characters are. A lot of people in my world are ace because of deterring health due to the pernicious effect of the Divine Purge catastrophe. But that's not the only reason. Many just are. They prefer emotional relationships.

Subeya (portrait in the making) is ace.

Aekis (and other Astraleids like him) is ace, but they are not human. They've evolved from humans.

I’ve got a cyborg koala that is asexual. But it’s more of a background thing about his character. His overall story arc is more so trauma related to how he became a cyborg.
