Excellent concept and good atmosphere introduction, @ReaperKing
I wish you could write the details of the fight between the protagonist and that gorilla that looked like a mammoth. It cliff-hanged, but it was okay since it was an introduction.
Two things came across my mind as I read it;
1. What happened to earth? Where is all human now?
2. Judging by the way you said Human was a rare sight to see, I only can think nothing but two, which either my first question or the protagonist has been abducted by some universe slavery organization.

Mine was solely explained as an alternate timeline; a world after the apocalypse wasn't always a new beginning or devastation for the survivor of the human races.
Synopsis:
Earth wasn't the same as the way it was when the Creator of Life decided to bring forth a new cycle of life, cease gods, humans, and demons from its existence. Thus, a NEW WORLD arises after gods and demons have merged into human reality.
Twenty years after the catastrophe, neo-human was born. A superhuman who rivaled a godly strength and acclaimed themselves as the only surviving species in this rebooted world.
The daughter of both gods and demons, Cynthia was born simultaneously. Her parents left her in this newborn society among with minority of other gods who seclude themselves from neo-human sight.
Her power prevailed when her age turned eighteen. A power that could seize everything under her grasp as her ability was destined to become the crowned head of neo-humans and demons.
