I know we're kinda focusing on younger audience when it comes to the school factor, but I don't think that was really explicitly stated before (just that school is a possibly factor, but never what KIND of schooling).
I think we should also keep in mind that there are still high school and college students who read LINE comics too (even if a good amount of the audience are younger), and I think as you get older, you focus a bit more on responsibilities. I at least know it's true for me since I've stopped reading a few comics the moment engineering classes started for me.
So generally -- no, a younger student ("kids") wouldn't really care about impressions. But someone in high school or college? It's a bit different,and that's were that school factor sorta comes more into play.
