Alright so, I've been having a pretty big problem with Paypal, lately. Basically, my account got (unfortunately) permanently restricted because they found out I was underage when I opened it (I regret doing this so much). Since I wanted to start working on commissions and I also have a Patreon and a Ko-fi account open, I was wondering... is there any way I could get my Paypal back? And if there's no way out of this situation, is there any other safe alternative to Paypal you know of?

This is really problematic for me also because Tapas doesn't seem to have any other payout method beside Paypal and, in that case, I'm very much doomed. Thank you in advance, any suggestion/tip is appreciated.

Don't know about account recovery. PPal is notoriously unresponsive about such situations unfortunately.
But Stripe is a popular alternative.
I don't have a Stripe account myself, but I have paid someone via an invoice through it before and it worked just fine.

Oh I see. Yeah, unfortunately Paypal's customer service has never been super helpful for me . Thank you for your suggestion, I'll make sure to check out Stripe and give it a try!

Also, does Tapas offer another payout method beside Paypal? I'm worried that I might never be able to withdraw all my support revenue because of this and I'd feel bad for all the amazing people who have shown me their support with ink so far.

Unfortunately PPal is the only available method for Tapas right now. It may change in the future.
But perhaps try making an new paypal account from a different IP or borrow a trusted friend or family's account to receive Tapas payouts?

Oh, that's very unfortunate to hear. Yeah, I believe I might borrow a trusted person's paypal and possibly withdraw funds from there. I really hope Tapas adds more payout methods in the future, though, seeing how Paypal can be very strict at times.

Anyways, thank you very much for helping me, your assistance has been precious!

Oof yeah I'm in a similar situation, cant use paypal so I can't actually get paid from Tapas. I asked about alternatives and its paypal or nothing. I just send the money I earn to my mom. RIP us.

I feel you, it really is terrible. I was really hoping for an alternative way to get money from Tapas, but I guess not. Well, I think I will have to send the money to a trusted person too

That really sucks. I hope you can resolve it with PayPal.

I have also heard of Boosty but I have no idea if it is any good.

Yeah, I really hope to fix this situation somehow, but my hopes aren't too high. I was too impatient and I guess I'm paying the price now (no pun intended).

Never heard about Boosty, I will definitely look it up and see how it is!

Always the best alternative for online wallets has been accountants who, if anything, you can be advised on something, and also provide complete security for your savings, as they will control it. Personally, if I have my own accountant from gorillaaccounting.com/2 who confirms the act of transferring money from my account with any transaction I make. I am under the impression that with this protection, no hacker will ever be able to access my funds.

I use Payoneer to withdraw money from my Patreon, I find it better than PayPal (lower fees), I'm not sure whether other platforms support it or not. Stripe is also an option.

I opened a Payoneer account as soon as I was restricted by PP. So far I'm finding it to be better than Paypal!
