Any Critique on an Updated Page?

Hey guys!

So I've been on a long hiatus trying to structure my artstyle and generally clearing up the story to my comic. The last time I posted, Tapas.io was known as Tapastic.com, so that should give context as to how long I've been away :U

Anyways, to the point, I decided to practice color by redoing the first page of my comic, Jim's Days, which has lead me into wanting to redo the whole of chapter 1. I'd like to hear what you guys think in order to further develop this new art style! Check it out at the link below:

Overall definitely better, especially the lower saturation and details like the visible glass and better light and shadow. I will say I think your lettering needs some work, the rounded rectangle speech bubbles feel a bit awkward, the bubble should really be tailored more to the shape of the text, and on the hexagonal ones you're text is getting too close to the edge and the leading is really inconsistent, I'm guessing it was edited to fill the vertical space of the bubble.

Thanks! I finally fixed it by making the rounded edges a little more oblong as well as changing the hexagonal lines into a less geometric shape By lettering, you mean the flow of the text within the bubble and not the choice of font yeah? ^^"

Well, letting is just the overall term for putting words on comics. But yeah much better overall, your leading's still uneven in some of the orange bubbles though.

Really interesting art style you have as well. I can see this taking off.

That probably has more to do with no new comic posted since May. That causes viewership to plummet.

The space between the lines of text, in ye olden days of movable type printing presses they used to space lines of text with lead strips, hence leading. But English is stupid, hence confusion.
