I love making chapter covers because I can go all out (it's also nice for readers since I go on hiatus before a new chapter releases! I've made 3 covers so far. My third chapter hasn't released but it's a nice buffer so that I can take a good long hiatus!
Since I wanted to share mine, I thought it'd be fun to see if anyone else does anything similar (and I love looking at cool art!)
Chapter covers are def a fun way of going all out very once in a while
THIS LOOKS SO COOL (very edgy, I love it )
I love seeing chapter covers and special arts @smokesalty love the way you work with colours, you're great with setting the right mood!@redfish it looks really cool, love the composition!
Here are some of my chapter covers they are usually just some peaceful arts of characters interacting and usually have nothing to do with what's going on in the actual chapter cx
Many! This is a little collage of the first covers of the series. Most of my covers are in B&W, though. It's just takes too much time with my actual schedule. But for my next series (?) I want to do it full color if times allow, and that will include the covers =D
This is gross, scary, and incredibly disturbing, and yet awesome at the same time.
I use very simple chapter covers that contrast with the actual content but still get the point across.
.
I did make a chapter cover for chapter one (which I'm still on), but I fully intend to make them for other chapters as well.
I also do related/supplemental art for the comic now and then, although drawing a page a week does take most of my juice.
I'm working on a 'travel poster' type image to show off the (lush but incredibly tedious) landscape of the first chapter's main setting. And while I'm not done with it yet, it's looking like this so far...
here is my lastest chapter cover
I love making covers too, and yours look amazing! I'm still learning to make interesting covers. Here are some of mine~
