Hello, I'm also legally blind but not gonna derail your topic.
My question would be if you have any plans to transition to novels rather than art.
I started with writing and had intentions to teach myself to draw even after my diagnosis, bought a tablet and all that, started off great, but it became apparent quickly that it was simply never going to happen. I wouldn't be able to enjoy my own work and it'd never be legitimately good anyways. It would at best be good "for a blind guy" which isn't a bar worth my time and effort to hit. So now I work with an artist who's also my partner.
One thing i really did want to address from my point of view is this:
My answer would be a hardcore no. sighted people should not be punished just because a few other people can't see as well. It's a visual medium, it should be made for those who can fully enjoy it for what it actually is. Although there are many things in the world that can easily be made blind accessible without any impact on the sighted side of it, comics aren't one of them.
It'd be better to take the effort that would've been spent shoehorning accessibility into a comic and put that into efforts to cure/prevent blindness.
