I don't follow the official one anymore as I have deadlines and I'm working full time now. But I'll be writing in November.

But I applaud anyone who's into the idea or wants to do it. The basic principle is how I got to where I am now, the organization aspect is so great for someone starting out writing longer works.

Man, I always admire people who participate in NaNo. I've always wanted to join ever since I was a kid lol...Unfortunately, I'm busy writing my novel that I wanna post here on Tapas. And i'm also planning to enter into comic anthologies soon. Has anyone joined Camp NaNo, though? It's like a mini-NaNo event that takes place in spring (April) and maybe it's more my thing, since it's a little bit more lax than NanoWriMo. xD

Camp Nano doesn't have set rules on word count, while NaNo has 50k requirement; In Camp, you set your own word count goal and try to achieve it. You also get to choose to write whatever you want - scripts, screenplay, novel, short story, while NaNo is strictly "novel", I think?
