So I started posting my comic in summer of 2016, and it's sort of been steadily losing views and likes over that period of time with each increasing chapter. Now, for awhile it's been steadily in the 20s in terms of likes – I thought by that time I had really filtered down my core group of readers; but that drop has significantly lessened recently from in the 20s to not even reaching the 20s.
It could be due to the tonal change of my comic, but I'm really not sure – maybe there weren't expecting such a shift like the one that we're doing now, but I didn't expect the likes to go from the low 20s to 5 or 6 in just a couple of updates.
Could this be due to the recent drama going on in this site, or should I be worried? I don't want to nix this part of the comic, as this is something that was in the outline and script and very important to the development of the story.
I haven't even been really losing a significant amount of subscribers (although I have lost much more in the past several weeks than I have been recently), and I do still get them now and then (in fact, I seem to be losing less than I was in the beginning) But no one seems to want to interact, etc. Should I be worried? Does anyone have any tips?
I'm working on expanding my presence but it can sometimes be a lot to handle, so I'd love to hear what other people have to say.
I apologize if it's a bother – I know there are many threads like this one on the forums, but even as someone who has experience posting here for almost a year, I've never experienced such a large drop in participation before.
For reference, here's my comic:

Thanks, all!
