Yeah. Forever GM.
Legend of the Five Rings, ACKS, Into the Odd, Beyond the Wall, World of Darkness (Hunter/Innocents are my favorite for flavor beyond Core), own a metric ton of Pathfinder books because the bestiaries are worth it, The One Ring is righteously solid and lore accurate for my purposes, D&D 3.0-5e (4e gets a bad rap but it is damn solid if you know what you're doing). Collector's Edition for Rogue Trader and Deathwatch, loved me Dark Heresy (first full campaign I ever ran was in that) but not impressed with the second edition; also got me Only War. Lamentations of the Flame Princess, DCC (I need that one classic 70s con shirt damnit), and some Savage Worlds. Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay in hardcover. Shadowrun, run 2e and recently was able to decipher the brick of 5e.
Spent some hard money on the Degenesis hardbacks; running a game of that for some transmen primarily. My god the atrocities they commit for the sake of mere survival. Got that and an L5R game set in Ryoko Owari going on right now for my artist and some other art people (and they're dumb enough to get involved in a war between Daigotsu and Iuichiban); but I'm enchanted by FFG's Star Wars for no good reason--the dice are keeping me away though.
Not a huge fan of Powered by the Apocalypse games, just because there's a glut of them. Reminds me a lot of the d20 bloat. But there are some good ideas in them.
Love me my book. Wrote a crappy adventure for Savage Flower Kingdom, and half-designed a system like four years ago that gets passed around 4chan's /tg/ a lot because shockingly they like my charts and rules for small town horror. I need to retool that because I have numbers enough to know people would shell out 5 bucks for a pdf. Also got a Kung Fu Animal thing in the works because I found a good way of utilizing variance dice and success chains to get the wuxia flowing with just enough crunch; though that started out as me trying to get some Avatar: The Last Airbender stuff happening (namely because I wrote a semi-popular list of adventure seeds for that setting and I desire to get back into it at some point even if Korra was an abomination.)
I think the best part is, nobody really knows about my hobbies in meatspace. No shirts about the hobby or the culture (the DCC one I want is tasteful), and people just look at my bookshelf and think I'm exceptionally well read. It is kind of fascinating.
Somewhat looking forward to the new 7th Sea. Even though John Wick is a really wretched sort of game designer, I admire production values and think that tweaking the new system could result in something fun.
