no idea xD
the only thing I can confirm is a texas special thing, was when I was at the airport and they were selling "texas extra large chocolate, everything's bigger in texas" which doesnt sound too far from when I think texas...
but they don't actually sell that chocolate anywhere else except in the airport xD
when you go in the grocery store, they absolutely sell "king size" chocolate in houston, not sure if that's really just a texas thing.
also one thing I can definetly say might be a texas thing is the fact that there's a LOT of access to hispanic candy like Lucas and stuff, since Texas is neighboring mexico, actually we do share a little bit of some of the culture there still.
I can tell because I only look at the food, and we do like our mexican grocery store now and then xD, but as stated, not sure if that's a texas unique thing.
edit: more common access to mexican food resturants, fruits and foods from there or at least the recipes that come from that culture, also because my family is filipino, we also do go to the occasional hong kong
double edit: I've never tried hispanic candy that much or am a fan of it, but in middle school, every kid was eating this stuff up like in the shadey alleyways of my ghetto school
"hey man, ya want a ciggarette?"
"na fam, I want the real shiz"
"oh hell ya, the good stuff"
pulls out lucas candy spaghetti pack
"heck yeah man!"
gives 2 dollars
(this is actually a thing that would happen in my middle school btw, much better than real drugs that's for sure xD)
