Anyone in the greater NYC area?

I know there are at least a few here located in the NYC area. I'm not in the city, but more close to upstate NY myself.

We should totally hang out some time after the holidays are over! I'm not well versed in the arts of chilling and small talk, but if we have specific topics -- such as comics, our characters, etc. -- then I'm game.

I live in Northern Jersey but I work in the Hudson Valley. It would be fun to do a cartoonist meet up if there are other people in the area

I don't even know what NYC stands for! So I guess it's safe to say I'm nowhere near NYC... wherever that is....

I'm in western Massachusetts. Not crazy far from NY state. An hour and a half away give or take from the eastern most parts of the state. 2 and a half hours away from NYC. If I had some money to get a bus trip, it would be fun. I've got family in both NYC and upstate to visit along the way anyway. XD

I'm a North Jerseyian myself (Bergen), literally two blocks from upstate NY!

Off topic/tangent, but could we call this a "comic creator" or "Tapastic creator" meetup? XD I don't identify as a cartoonist due to the word "cartoon" being associated with children's entertainment and/or newspaper strips. Or even a "comic lover" meetup -- it would be neat to have a non-creating reader join us as well!

It's why I didn't bother to explain the abbreviation. If you don't know what NYC stands for, chances are you don't live in the area.

Also true story is when American's laugh at you for not knowing the abbreviation for their 50+ states and who knows how many cities.

Every time someone mentions a state by its abbreviation I have to google it
