Apart from Deviantart and Tapas, what other fun art sites are there?

There used to be a fun art site called manga bullet but it is not on the internet anymore.

Definitely Toyhouse! It's a site mainly for storing OCs, but it have an amazing forum with lots of fun games, mostly "draw the character above" kind, but there're way more. To sign up, invitation code is required, but it's not that hard to get if you look around Deviantart for them.

ARTSTREET! I used to post there and I have never found such a including and kind community, everybody there is so supportive and very talented

seconding ArtStreet, aside from having a decent community there's also lots of little challenges that pop up now and then so if ever your stuck there's always a prompt or two to fall back on

I would say FurAffinity but that's not for the faint of heart or folks who aren't fond of stumbling onto the occasional swath of weird stuff on the front page or browse sections

In terms of other art focused sites some new ones I've seen crop up include:

• Sheezy.Art
• Buzzly.art
• Inkblot which is currently in closed beta afaik but you can check the carrd for other info
  and
• Artfol which is still mobile only (iPhone + Android) but they are working on a desktop version

there was another site i remember popping up but i think something happened with one of the devs so i stopped keeping track someone else may remember/know the name of it

Definitely ToyHouse and Artfol! ToyHouse is really fun if you like ocs and I like to use it to keep information about and drawings of my characters in the same place for me to reference. And Artfol has been super fun; it is a lot better for posting art and has a positive community, but functions a lot like Instagram.

Thirding ToyHouse! I really enjoy looking at all the creativity there. People post their most wild, creative ideas. It's a fun place.

Just read the post elaborating and honestly don't blame them for the decision. It's painful for sure given the site seemed really promising but the reasons given seem totally fair
