Last year for doing inktober i gained nothing but a very annoying pain in my hand that lasted for months.

I can only either work on my own comic and patreon rewards, or in something that takes time and energy away from the comics, there's no rewards, and it didn't even help me to gain any subs/followers/watchers doing inktober.

If I do end up joining, I definitely won't be doing the whole month. I'll try to aim for half of the month.

I just googled it, and it looks cool! I probably will but it all depends if I'm busy with school. Even then I'll probably be able to only do half.

im trying inktober this year! but im not following a prompt list, im making an inktober comic it's 31 square panels, which im making in linocut (different kind of ink, buuut ), and hopefully i'll be able to share one a day, but i might run into november

I plan on doing Inktober again this year. It will be my 3rd year participating. The first year, I got bored with it and didn't finish. Last year I succeed, but it's because I didn't follow a set list. I drew OC's of mine all month long.
I want to do a drawing every day for the month of October, but I'm not sure what theme I want to do. I'm not going to take any set list, I'll create my own.
It's either I do OC's again or I do Fan Art. Might do Nostagia fan art.

I'm not doing any special challenges in November this year. I usually do NaNoWriMo, but I don't have time this year.

I'm gonna do inktober! But I think I might do stuff from two different lists; the official and one I found on instagram that sounds really fun! I've already started sketching stuff. I don't think I'll be able to do every day though. I'll just do as much as I can. I'm thinking of incorporating a lil grey, but that's still up in the air. I hope what I'm doing isn't illegal

Nah. I did Inktober for the past several years and it never really builds much of a following for me in exchange for the massive amount of work it is. There's so many people on the inktober tag that it kind of feels like what's the point of doing 30 sup-bar pieces for 3 likes each? So, I look forward to skipping it this year I might do a couple because of peer pressure but the full challenge? nahhh.

I think the spirit of the whole challenge has kind of gone out the window anyway. My twitter feed has been people freaking about inktober since August. It's like...since when was inktober some right of passage? Draw whatever the hell you want.

My schedule is already full for the rest of the year, so I won't do it this time. As others mentioned already, I don't see these challenges that beneficial either. And I have more than enough stuff to deal with anyway, especially with Christmas coming. But I wish everyone who's participating to have fun doing Inktober!

I'm taking part in Inktober 2019. It's my first attempt at doing so. I've never heard of Huevember... interesting.
I needed to take a break from my comic and novels for awhile. I haven't really been working on anything for awhile due to RL events. A beloved relative finally lost her battle with end stage renal disease. Her passing has hit me pretty hard as she was a big part of my life.
I decided to do it as a sort of cathartic project.

Because I draw comic pages everyday I don't have time to do really detailed stuff or even try and come up with things representing the prompts. but I'm gonna try and participate this year by just drawing the baby reaper in my comic (a very easy character for me to draw) over and over again.

She'll follow the prompts if I can think of something, but if I can't she'll just be doing other things.
