I drew a month-long miniseries for my Christmas special this year; the final chapter is set to release tomorrow for Christmas Eve. The premise is that I made Santa Claus into a shonen anime protagonist - so it's all your favorite parts of the shonen formula meshed with Christmas schmaltz!
I wrote a winter special episode of my comic "Dragonwood"! It's a sweet little stand alone story about how the protagonist met her bird best friend, and it features ice dragons and winter magic! Accessible even to those who haven't read any of the rest of the comic!

Participated in a winter holiday collab, and then made my own new years artwork... honestly the new years one doesn't exactly scream "new years" just because there's a sprinkler lmao. might make a more proper new years art later.

I really wanted to draw something special for Christmas/New Year. But I was so short on ideas as those concepts doesn't really exist, and are therefore not celebrated on the planet where my comic takes place. I thought the next best thing I could do was to let the main character experience snow. So I made a very rough sketch of Kir'aara looking up at some (not so) pretty snowflakes .Hope that kind of counts at least !

Something I did in watercolor this year. They started out as my characters and then I didn't follow through with it. I'm not very experienced with watercolor so some things turned out p awesome and other things a little weird. Also white gouache snow actually shimmers in the light and I am LE SAD that you can't see it on the scanned version, haha.
