They suggest not uploading a bunch of pages at once, but the final decision on that is up to you. One of the reasons many creators suggest not uploading tons of pages at once is some readers dont like being overwhelmed to read a lot of pages at once, while some do consume a lot- you never know the type of readers you're gonna get. Test the waters, start with one or two a week; if your readers want more then give them more.
Also take into account how long it will take for you to produce more pages. If you throw everything out there, and take a month or so to produce more pages, readers might not stick around for the next batch. That risk becomes smaller once you build a readership, but starting out you want to show the readers that you can maintain a schedule of consistency. In actual manga books, they have a team of people producing a comic...if you have a team & you all feel you're up to the task of cranking out pages, then go for it. However, if you're a lone creator doing this, you may want to pace yourself- trying to do a comic at a neck breaking rate will hurt you in the long run...the key is to create a comic that you like and enjoy doing. It's good to put out [lots of] pages for your readers to eat up, but make sure you're moving at a pace that is healthy & good for you.
