(I already posted this on the Welcome to Super Science Club but I decided to post it here too since I'm a novice at comic making.)
Hi, I've decided to jump in this forum and talk about some sci-fi comics I'm trying to work on.
Originally I had three sci-fi ideas I wanted to work on:
A comic strip about slice of life & aliens;
A comic about people solving paranormal problems;
And an action/adventure comic that would have various stories of different aliens making it big in the universe.
So that would be 2 regular comics and one comic strip. But I realized that would be too much for me to handle since I work a full-time job & I'm lousy at managing my time so I figured I should just do two webcomics: The action/adventure sci-fi idea as a regular comic and the Paranormal idea as a comic strip. (And what I mean by "regular comic" is that I would use comic book boards while the comic strips I would use comic strip paper)
But I was concerned if I'm able to put action into a comic strip since comic strips normally would be 2-4 panels per strip. I've read a few sci-fi comic strips that actually work well as a comic strip like Starslip Crisis and various Yonkoma manga like Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro. But I wasn't sure if a comic strip about the Paranormal would work or not.
But then again I wouldn't know if I don't try, right? I just didn't want that comic strip paper that I paid for to go to waste and I didn't want to buy more comic book boards if I were to use just comic book boards for both ideas.
