Are you new here? - Old advice that doesn't work on Tapas anymore

Sorry, I know that you've posted this comment for one month but whatever, I wanted to say a thing. ;o;

Drawings might not be the most important stuff. I don't know how you draw...But if there are people who think you've got a certain potential, then don't hesitate and just post your comic!
Don't just ask yourself about how good your comic is or how you've done it, people are here to see what you've done and they might criticize a little just to help you.
@vincentprendick have said the most important tips to do for a begginner... Just don't frustated doing your comic, and if you're a very begginer, don't live with your comic......... that would be dangerous for you.

But still! You can found some lessons about art in Youtube or somewhere else! Be curious and don't stay in your own art style, there are also people on Youtube who criticize arts (like SolarSands) or even try to ask your friends who know you the best. Even if they're not into your hobby, ask them about how you draw, so then they would be honest because they wouldn't already know how you draw tho.

This is extremely helpful! I just made an account here today, and I've talked with my best friend about finally publishing our webcomic here. We've been developing the plot and characters since 7th grade. He and I are both about to be juniors in high school, and the story is still fresh in our minds. We're thinking about starting it sometime this summer as soon as I buy a new stylus for my Wacom tablet. These tips will definitely be a life-saver for us.

Thanks for this post. I have not posted anything but I'm trying to earn coins as much as possible to unlock a chapter from my Library list. However, I also want to use those stories as my inspiration to continue my comics. Hopefully, I am able to post something this year!

I dunno if this is the right place to post, but since I'm new and confused, hopefully it is. :') I've been trying to upload the first chapter of my story, I dragged a pdf file, a word file, etc. into the upload and episode window with no luck. Appearantly it seems to only take images, and it doesn't recognize my files. I tried looking for a way to switch into "novel mode" but I can't find anything, is this a glitch or am I missing something/using the wrong file format?

I did! It still wasn't working, however the problem was resolved once I changed the name of my novel and restarted my browser, so I guess we'll never know haha

A lot of Tapastic users are on mobile, and the daily snack happens at 12 pm. I usually post my comics at around noon, since that's when some users check Tapastic for the daily snack.

Well i got social media but people there don't talk on English so it doesn't do anything, it's useless.
Oh boy. I thought it might be some special place to promote comics or whatever but i have no idea where. Don't think that forums is alright for that. It feels more like annoying spam or smth...
