I’ve recently come back to tapas and I’ve peeked into the forum and I’ve gotta say that one of your points about lot begging for subs kinda resonated with me looking at the forums.
I was shocked at the number of threads open where people simply want other people to sub to their comic and they’ll sub back. I seem to remember this happening a bit back in the days as well. Maybe it’s an algorithm or something that makes it pop up so much but to me it’s kinda ”bleh” to se. I don’t mind looking at your comic if you wanna advertise it but I actively shy away from you if you just want this. I wanna read good comics and will do so, but I will not just not read your stuff to get my numbers up.
Nothing takes the joy out of creating a comic for me quite like just doing this to get numbers up.
