Here are today's exercises I do 20 minutes of line exercises to help loosen up the wrist, elbow and shoulder joints. The I I do 20 minutes of circles trying to make a perfect circle
Then I move on to perspective drawings of basic shapes and finally I'll either do anatomy studies or gesture drawings. At the moment I'm focusing on anatomy.
I also manage to finish my art study of 'Kasuga Shrine, Nara (Tabi miyage dai nishū, Nara Kasuga Jinja)'
And I got to start my next study on Kamo village on Sado Island (Tabi Miyage dai nishū, Sado Kamomura)
@Hodge thank you, practicing anatomy of the skull is enjoyable but it's extremely repetitive and doesn't make for good posting. I'm grateful that you created this thread, I got home exhausted yesterday from work and was about to call it an early night but your post gave me a second wind.
I also wanted to share this link which redirects to an artist named Alex Hays who uploaded a large portion of Andrew Loomis' books. Anyone who struggles to afford books or can't get access to them because of the lockdown can get them for free here: http://www.alexhays.com/loomis/
