Art submission on Tapas

Does anyone have experience with working as an artist with Tapas?
It looks like you can submit art samples to work as part of the art team for published creators, but I couldn't find much info on it.

Just curious what the experience is like, deadlines, pay, etc.

I think you're thinking of being an artist that has been accepted into the promotional paid group of comics. I think this question from @Gebo is asking about those who are novelists whose work is signed on to be turned into a comic by Tapas's hired artists.

I feel like the hired artists are from contracts that Tapas likely seeks out, either in art style and/or through proved means of being able to keep quality of art in a deadline without falling off. Off hand, I'm guessing these are artists hired through contracts through sites like Indeed or something where the position is listed as open, and the artists apply via resume/portfolio.

Very good question! I'm also curious about hourly/panel rates, deadlines, workloads and such. Mostly for colourist roles, but it'd be good to get an insight into all of it.

I imagine the contract for each hired artist may be different, depending on skill, speed, level of detail, etc, but the averages would be useful.

With any sort of freelancing, they'd be making a new contract with each artist, I assume. So, just make sure you are aware of standard rates that Tapas or Webtoon have before you apply by doing some cursory google checks. I know about standard rates for the Big 2...not sure about online webcomic rates. (also, for each job, you'll have a different rate, depending on difficulty and how much work needs to be done, and whether they need it rushed or not.)
