Artist looking for Writer for manga/comic

Hello everyone !

I am a amateur artist, who always wanted to try drawing manga/comic. However, I never was very good at writing stories (writing is a art, just like drawing...). So I wanted to ask if anyone here would be interested by a collaboration.

I'd be very interested in fantasy, slice of life and romance.

I must warn you though: I am not a professional. I almost never drew manga/comics actually. My first aim is to improve myself, learn to work faster and better, etc. But I cannot promise a good result.
I am not saying this to discourage you, but just to warn you that if your story is very important to you, if it is the work of your life, it is better to look for a better artist than me ^^

Does it have to be a new story? What about an already written one? If so, do you want to look at this and see if you would be fine illustrating it? I like your artstyle and I'm sure we could work something out mine is modern fantasy with a slice of romance later on. It mostly focuses on drama though.

Your skills are very good! I really hope you find a writer! But like someone else mentioned above, are you looking to do a short comic or something longer? I have some ideas in mind that may be of interest to you!

I love that blonde character Charlotte, she's so cute! And you have a variety of styles. I think that's great. I have a number of ideas and my art is terrible so working with an artist would be great. I'm also quite slow due to other commitments so doing a story over a long period is fine by me.

But what kind of project would you like? I have ideas for some short slice of life or an ongoing series.

When I said amateur, I meant I was not a professionnal. I lack efficiency and speed, and knowledge about comics and manga. I am more a hobbyist, at least for now.

Right now, I think a short project would be wiser, In case I wouldn't be able to stay the distance.

Well, I have a few ideas that might suit.
- one is kind of a superhero spoof, kinda on the cute side, about a magician's rabbit who becomes human occasionally and decides to fight crime. Comedy about her adjusting to being human and trying to be a hero.
- a one panel comedy about why girls love tentacles but totally clean (unless you have a dirty mind)
- a sequential art about my supernatural characters from my urban fantasy (vampires, werewolves, etc.)
- a sequential art, extended stories of my other novel's characters. Another superhero tale but about a girl with no powers trying to prove her worth

Hey! Are you still looking for a writer? I’m very inspired by your art. That maiden girl and that dragon boy could be a great combo. Let the adventure badass hero return to his home where his maiden is keeping his house. He is subtle to her with his stories about saving the world and fighting epic battles. Because all she cares about is that tiny spider that keeps making webs in the corner and she can’t catch it.

And he loves her for that. He needs this every day cute maiden trouble to keep him grounded. Something to remind him about why he fights and why he has to keep the world safe.

She does not romance anyone. And special not that creepy delivery boy that always stumbles and breaks the eggs he supposes to deliver because he is sneaking around the house to stalk her.

The dragon boy does feel romantic about the maiden. But he suppresses this. He wish for her to have her own safe life and family. He can not offer that to her. She deserves a normal safe life
