So I read your novel, and I am liking it so far.
The summary is funny, and definitely drew me in. Especially the parts that say "handsome yandere dragon" and "a god ready to quit his job by chapter 3."
Qiu Ling gives the impression that he is clingy, as he can't even stand two hours before missing his beloved. And he's also somewhat lacking in wisdom (not intelligence, wisdom). I think he understands how important the trials are, but still can't help his meddling. But I still like him as a character - he really matches his summary description, and it's sweet how much he cares (even though his method of showing that isn't the best). I didn't mean for this description to be negative because everyone has flaws, and I think Qiu Ling is entertaining, overall.
Since Jing He is an infant/tiny child for most of volume 1, I don't have much to say about his character yet. But I'll be excited to learn about how he develops!
I also like the plot because it's unique; I'm not entirely sure if it has been done already, but I've never read it before.
There weren't any grammar errors that hugely stood out to me, but if you'd like, I can go back through and point them out in the comments.
I also don't really know how the majority of your readers will feel about the genre shift because I like serious fantasy just as much as comedy. So far, I'm liking it just as much as I did in the beginning chapters.
If you have any more specific questions, feel free to ask and I'll try to answer as best I can.
