Thank you! I mostly just copied the stage looks for the original broadway cast because they already lowkey looked like my characters. Was going to add the buttons to the coat, but for whatever reason that detail made the outfit feel very pirate-esque

It's a musical (my favorite musical even) it's based on about 70 some pages of War and Peace by Tolstoy. It was on broadway 2016-2017 and won a couple of tonys. Also had Josh Groban in it (he was Pierre)

I didn’t hear of this one until I did research on several Houdini musicals.

Man of Magic was another one in the 1960s but it wasn’t successful so it was cancelled

It’s a shame. There were some pretty good songs in that one too.
