I'm so onboard with this!
I am so thankful for a job that I can do very successfully from home. That my parents are letting me stay with them until this blows over. That there are 3 cats in the house right now and I'm loving every minute of that! I'm thankful I have a lot of space here, and that my mom and me can go walking daily, provided the weather is nice. That I have enough hobbies to keep me occupied.
Some goodness that's surprised me...hmm. The KY governor has really risen to the occasion, and the memes that have come out of this are crazy. I've seen and heard stories of people buying groceries for, and generally taking care of, folks who are most at risk. A friend of my brother threw a video-conference baby shower for my brother and sister-in-law, and I thought it was gonna be so boring but it was actually really fun! It was so nice. My mom needed an MRI for something and was really worried that she'd have to wait a really long time to get one b/c of this craziness, and that she would have to just deal with the pain she's in, but she managed to get scheduled for one less than three days after being told she'd have to wait 30.
