Best things you’ve Found in Ikea?

Most of us have bought a thing or two from Ikea. It’s cheap and bland enough to fit into any home. So what is the thing you most remember as being either pretty or a bargain, or maybe just extremely useful?

For me it’s a giant elephant plushie because... well, I’m me 🤷🏼‍♀️

I JUST SAW IT TODAY, I ALMOST BOUGHT IT. My mom was with me though so she stopped me. She was so dissapointed still from the elephant plushie so she was like I AM NOT LETTING YOU SPEND WHAT LITTLE MONEY YOU HAVE ON A FUCKING SHARK

The best things I've bought from IKEA? The desk I'm currently using- originally bought for my "kiddo" long ago when they were in school(they've graduated now & left the nest); only cost me $20 bucks and it is sturdy & practical af. I can unscrew the legs off, and it breaks down real easy- been using it between moves until I get my own place and set up my new L-shaped desk.

Also bought some memory foam pillows a couple months back when I had gotten a new memory foam mattress for my back. Pillows were $15 bucks each(bought 2)- they work pretty decent; I dont have as much neck pains as I used to every morning I wake up.

@ryoko the meatballs are pretty good(and the sauce). Only part I didnt like was they only offered Pepsi products(I'm a Coca-Cola person) & their raspberry flavored "sparkling water" tasted like carbonated water with NO sweetner.

The IKEA store where I live is downtown- when I actually lived closer to downtown I used to go quite a bit; now that I live far outside downtown I only go when I actually need to buy something.

Pretty much every piece of furniture in my house is from Ikea it's pretty much the only thing we can afford.

Best thing are the picture frames that were 8 ½ x 11 instead of 8 x 11 or 8 x 10 like at pretty much ever single friggen other store I went to.

So I finally found frames I could put my drawings / prints into without having to fold or cut them.

Cheep too, like 5$ each or something like that.

OMG OKAY! I have never seen Star Wars and neither do I plan to because... magic in space is dumb (CHANGE MY MIND) but last time I went I saw this chandelier that's a ball and when you pull it open it just bursts out??? Like the Death Star??? (I am not completely clueless about Star Trek) And I have been DYING to get my hands on it since that time.

Those dang door and drawer inserts take as long to assemble as the entire rest of the item. That's also where they getcha with the $$$.
