Best time of the year to launch comic

Hi I'm preparing a new comic and possibly collabs if the project does well. I was wondering if you have observed periods of the year that has more visitors or people hanging out on the internet. Are holidays and vacations a good time? Do I avoid
"go back to school" period? Of course, my efforts promoting on social media and the appeal of the project is what will get the users interest, but I'm curious to know I you have seen patterns.

so you going to sit around waiting for Christmas? come on if you want to play in this crazy sand pit we call web comics you just got to jump in and get one with it. subs will come and go best thing to do is do this for your own enjoyment everything else is a bonus. good luck with the comic.

Hey mariusthered! This will be my first professional comic, my hobbie comic is already here in tapas and I don't worry about subs traffic etc. because I'm publishing it for my entertainment. But in the other one you can't blame me for wanting to do a successful launch right? In fact products have to wait for certain cycles. For example, no toy company launches their best products during summer, it has to be before or after. If you have to wait a year or 6 months, etc. is smart to know.

If those cycles don't even exist in comics I would love to hear that too! Of course, subs come and go, I'm not after subs because that is determined by the quality and appeal of the comic, I want to know if some of you have noticed times of the year in which users don't care as much for comic as other times.

sorry if i spoke out of turn, i thought you were a beginner. of course you want the best start but i dont relive there is seasons on the net as loud as you can publish loud enough and far enough people pay attention. i will go back to keeping me trap shut now.

No way!!! I appreciate your advice so much, I would have told the exact same to a beginner!! Do it!!! Regret nothing!!! There are so many posts by artists too scared to just publish that is actually good advice to tell them to stop waiting.

Just in this case I wanted some advice. I have been working on this for soooo long and many people count on me, so I don't want to pretend I know it all. Please keep commenting in all future posts!

Yeah... you are right January seems like a good time of the year. Like people are going back to their routine, there are no more holidays around and I feel like they spent their money already in Christmas XD and could appreciate a free comic and the opportunity to win stuff.
