Felix peeked over at the drawing. "There sure are a lot of us," he said.
“He can manage.” Callan said, heading back to the sofa.
Genii went to try a few a few doors.
"Well anyways, you fine with your first one being without rum?" Zephyr asked as he gave Felix and Pam two soft Pina Colodas in a saucer and a smaller cup as well.
Felix thanked Zephyr and lapped up his drink.
Pam started to sip on the pina colada, not sure what to expect from it.
“Heh, yeah,” she said to Felix. “It’s kinda weird to think that we’ll all be going home after this. If what those people are saying about opening the portals is true, that is.”
"Almost hard to believe," said Felix. "Didn't think I'd miss the circus as much I do."
He twitched his whiskers. "What will you do when you get home?"
“I dunno,” Pam shrugged. “Wyndham’ll probably want me to start school.”
It was a very nice and sweet tropical flavor regarding the non-alcoholic pina coloda. Zephyr was certainly a master of cooking.
Zephyr meanwhile, flopped onto the couch next to the snowman duplicate Selena left as he lackadaisically sipped his shake with the biggest, swirliest, most flamboyant straw he could find.
"School is good. You'll learn a lot of things and it'll be helpful getting ahead later on," said Felix.
Pam made a noise that sounded like a nonverbal, “That’s what everyone’s told me, but I still don’t wanna go.”
"Go ahead and complain, but it's true. In life, you'll constantly have to do things you don't want to do," said Felix.
“Yeah… I know,” Pam sighed. She was very familiar with life repeatedly giving her the short end of the stick.
“…what’s school like?” she asked.
"It depends from place to place, but generally you go into a room with other kids while a teacher teaches you things. Then you do excercises to practice what you learn," said Felix.
"I actually have a part time teaching job back home." Flare spoke up from the couch upon hearing the conversation about school.
“That’s the part I don’t like,” Pam said. “The ‘other kids’ part.”
“So you’re a teacher sometimes?” she asked.
"Yeah. Mostly combat and archeology at the Guild, but still." Flare said regarding that.
"Don't you want to make more friends your age?" Asked Felix.
“It’s good.” Callan complimented as he tried the fruity cocktail.
Genii hadn’t had much luck finding any alcohol so far. He headed to the medical room to check in there.
"Why thank you! Always been partial to tropical fruits myself. Especially pineapples." Zephyr said, sipping his own drink. "Still want to toast Monsoon's and My wedding in advance in case we don't see each other again?"
“Aye, why not.” Callan raised his cocktail to Zephyr. “Blessings to yer both.”
Genii was looking in cupboards and drawers in the medical room.
“Hm… Iso-pro-pyl… al-co-hol. Aha!” The Siren grinned, helping himself to a couple of bottles.
