Genii clumsily caught Daro’s keys and locked the workshop door once everyone was out.

Bellah stopped leaning against the wall and stood to attention. She’d heard the whole conversation, but Genii still explained what was going on.

“-and the King might know how we can all get home.” The teen finished.

“Is that right?” Callan said, rejoining the group with Toby, Karu, August and baby Dani in tow.

"Oh hey." Ann raised a hand. "I'm just stopping by work not far from here. I haven't been here for a couple of weeks so I have to check in."

"Well then, let's go see this King." August said. It could only get better from the snow fields.
Daro was making his way to upper districts. The people in the upper districts looked wealthy and wore expensive clothing. The houses and shops were luxurious.

Tali gave a shy wave.

"Can we come with?" He beamed, curious to see where she worked.

Adriel scrunched his nose in disgust. The Upper Districts reminded him of the ones back home, and he wasn't very fond of it. He followed closely behind Daro, keeping his head down.

"Pleased to meet you." Ann extends her hand to Taliesin.
"Uhh, yeah that is no problem. I will probably have a conversation with my boss behind closed doors though, so I'm afraid that is private." Ann explains.

The people in the upper district glance at Daro and the rest occassionally, trying not to make it obvious they were staring.
Clearly they weren't fond of strangers.

Genii gawped at the passing scenery as they made their way into the more affluent area.

These fancier folk were more like what Callan was used to seeing back in Dovaan, so he didn’t pay them much attention.

Bellah may have stopped to look through the shop windows occasionally.

Finished with his breakfast, the Swordsman extinguished his fire and moved to enter the city for the first time, cracking his shoulders.

Tali shook Ann's hand and nodded, seems she had some important duties to take care of.

Tobias glared back at those who'd stare to long as the group made their way in the upper district.

"Okay, that's fine." Keane smiled, taking Tali's hand excitedly. "Let's go!"

Adriel resisted the urge to snarl at them. Vitaly shrunk back under their stare. Shiloh walked in her suit, unbothered.

The Swordsman would find himself entering the slums, which is the outer layer of the city. Worn down and nearly not as good looking as the upper districts, but it still had personality and heart. Also markets, and shady shops.

"I'm going inside." Ann says before entering the bank.

Daro walks before standing at the huge palace door. He knocks on it. The palace itself is imposing, having several floors and being built out of marble and rock. It has expensive gold-ish roof decorations and banners hanging around.

Guess we wait here? The bard asked looking up at the intimidating bank building

Finding himself without the group, the Swordsman marched through the slums with one hand on the sheath of his blade. After a few minutes, he activated his comm and whistled a "Who's there?", or maybe a "Who's where?".

“Ere we go again.” Callan muttered quietly as they waited for someone to answer the palace doors.

"Uh, not sure. Maybe we can look around inside, just not follow Ann to her boss' office?" Keane tapped his foot in thought. He knocked on the doors.

Adriel began unlatching his weapons, figuring they might need to stow it somewhere. Shiloh flinched at the whistling in her ear. "Palace. You better hurry if you want to join us, we'll be entering shortly."

August picked up the coms. Seems he was the only one (of my four) who picked it up, as Daro just ignored his, Ann seemed to be busy with something else and Obelisk couldn't talk back.
"August speaking. With who am I talking?"

Ann approached the reception and showed her ID, to which she was led upstairs. Inside the bank was a large reception with a couple of receptionists. There were stairs and hallways seemingly leading to the vaults, but it was hard to track where lead where.

The door was answered by palace guards, with expensive looking armor. They looked forward seeing only the group behind Daro, before they noticed the smaller one.
"What is your business for attending the palace?" They asked. This seemed familiar.

The Swordsman didn't receive August's question, or if he did, he couldn't answer. He already had a location anyways, and was moving at a breakneck pace through the city, easily leaping and climbing over obstacles.

Several people in Tarchur were shocked and surprised at the man making his way through the districts so quickly. Some guards whisper to each other as they keep an eye on the Swordsman.

If the Swordsman saw the royal palace, he would also see Daro and the rest at the front gate.

The Swordsman flipped off a lamp post (or other available item?) and landed next to the group, barely breathing any harder than before. He’d certainly been quick about it.

The palace guard was caught off guard by the Swordsman's sudden arrival. But Daro answers before he can make a remark of it.
"I'd like to request an audience with the King."
"That is not possible." The palace guard answered, much to Daro's dismay.

Keane went inside, marveling at the bank's grandiose interior. "Whoah..." he didn't dare wander far from the main lobby.

Adriel frowned. "Why not?"
