YEAH. It was my first opportunity after Swaha's contract concluded. I had gone back to hustling commissions and working on pre-production of my next comic to pitch when my editor asked if I was interested in trying out as a line artist because of my previous work on Swaha. She knew I needed the work hahah
I got a pair of fairly complicated sketches to Line as my test and was brought on board ^^ Starting from Ep 36 onward I've been TBATE's lineartist. A month or so down the line, I became the de facto manager of workflow thanks to my organizational skills (and got pulled into a new contract for 3 other comics). xD; Cause we were completely out of buffer. Going from Storyboard to Final render in a single week. EVERY WEEK. 60-70 panels each week.
Good lord the number of characters that are in TBATE. One week's fight scene took me 30 hours to line over 4 days.
Thank god we're coming onto a hiatus so we can employ a new work schedule I developed with another artist's help. (Dojo, if you've heard of him, he does a lot of color work on a number of comics for Tapas and he's awesome 8D)
