np lol, and it's okay if you write long, I often do too. I agree with your pov. I think everyone's skills should be judged on a case by case basis, not a broad overview of an entire demographic. I use some of my ideas from when I was a lot younger too, but they have to be revamped since I wasn't a great writer back then either. I think improving at any skill has less to do with age and more to do with how often and long you've been working at it. It's definitely easier to have more years under your belt when you're older, but some people have just been working at their skills since they were like 3, no joke, those kids make me so jealous lol
I think I've seen some buildings like that, I didn't know what they were called tho. Tbh, a lot of government buildings in my country look like that, must be the Spanish influenced.
I actually just remembered this, don't know how I forgot, that me and my siblings have commented that we have an unreasonable amount of ethnically ambiguous characters in our stories because we have so many biracial or tri-racial OCs, and often times these cultures are mixed into one household or family in silly ways. Then, we're biracial, so that might be why we do it lol
