Calling Artists Who aren't Afraid of Commitment

My previous artists fell through so here I am, looking for some more artists!

I'm looking for an artist, that wouldn't midn doing coloring, line work, etc, by themself. ( I have about an entire season's worth of stuff that needs to be drawn). The comic's about a pansexual and a stoner trying to live together in an apartment. It's called Pots and Pans. (Concept art has already be drawn, and the sketch for the introduction episode is also done.)

I'm also looking for a colorist, and a basic-artist that wouldn't mind working together for a project I'm calling "Ticking". It's a paranormal/fantasy romance (gl) story about someone who can see a person's aura, and someone's who's just really dare-devil-ly.

AND ANOTHER ONE-
This one is called The Weirdo's Waltz. I'm looking for an editor and an artist. This is a fantasy gl story about a centaur and a witch being hunted down for being different. This is a short story, unlike the others.

Hi. Sorry to be that person, but could your remove those tagged artists please. I understand your frustration, but you never know what those artists may be going though (offline etc.).

You're probably going to keep having the same problem as long as your projects are unpaid. Most people just.. can't put in that amount of effort long term for no money. Being ghosted instead of told upfront obviously sucks, but yeah, you just don't get commitment when you're asking for people to volunteer their time and talent. Working on someone else's project for no pay means you're at the bottom of the priorities list, regardless.

Better way to go would be to write and publish for yourself, and if that goes well, there's more options for leveraging into a comic at some point. (Or maybe you already do write? I just didn't see a link in your profile).

Also, if you must solicit free work, I suggest coming up with the shortest project possible to start. The shorter term commitment is more likely to be finished without anyone flaking, and serves as a good trial for you and the artist to see how you get along.

Just my thoughts on the matter. I think you have good ideas, which is probably why you got some interest from artists to begin with. But you might put more thought into your approach. ^^

This seems a little passive-aggressive, especially with that title ^^; Please keep in mind, those artists may have jobs and/or bills to pay that take priority.

Also, I agree with Poppy's idea, I think asking for a short comic first is best if you're doing unpaid. Maybe even some quid-pro-quo? Depends what works best for you.

I don't want to dogpile, but I agree with the other comments in this thread.
Art is skilled work, and comic art in particular is very difficult and time-consuming. If you're not offering any compensation for all this hard work your artists are doing, it seems to me you should be grateful you've gotten any art at all, rather than demanding commitment out of anybody who might want to do your labor for free.

That's a lot of projects you've got planned, and without pay, not many artists are going to be willing to complete them. I mean, what's really in it for them? Maybe some new artists with not much experience yet might be interested. Your best bet is learning to draw yourself and use these ideas to practice on if you can't pay them. Tapas could always use more novels, so you could also go that route and only need to worry about cover art and editors. It would be a little cheaper that way. Short stories might be a great option for you too.
