Gurren Lagann is amazing. And if you liked cowboy bebop watch samurai Champloo it's by the same director and is maybe even better.

Solo Leveling, Mashle, and Mob Psycho 100 are some that I can think of that I enjoyed.

The netflix terminator anime is actually really good

86 is another great anime.

Code geass is a classic

I also recommend:
Princess principal
Evangelion
Berserk (1997)
Full metal Panic

Mission: Yozakura Family, Wind Breaker, Erased, Frieren and Zenshu are some I've enjoyed, though some of those are more specifically different genres.

Berserk is mad. Good mad, but still the way the anime ends...

I'd say 'Death Note' is one of the big ones missing off your list, is it not your style?

One of my friends favourites is 'Akama ga kill'.

Sakamoto Days on Netflix is an action comedy about a retired assassin who has a hit put on him.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is an action adventure about a several hundred year old elf lady starting a new journey after she and her friends defeated the demon lord. It can be pretty chill, but the action scenes are amazing!

It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday, so it is shōnen.

I haven't watched it yet :sweat_02:, but from what I understand -- there is less focus on fighting (physical) and getting stronger which is more typical for (most of) the shōnen listed in the original post??

@clarissapattern I haven't read it, thank you for telling me about this.
"Parasite" animated version is also great, and both the animation and the manga are worthwhile works that deserve to be read.

wasn't a fan of solo leveling but i absolutely vouch Mob Psycho 100, the only anime i'd consider perfect

"Wistoria: Wand & Sword" is really good. I also liked "Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun" and "Faraway Paladin". If you want a relaxing fantasy series, I recommend "Ascendance of a Bookworm". On another note, "Sound! Euphonium" and "ReLIFE" are my two favorite anime of all time. "Solo Leveling" is my number three; it's on a whole other level compared to most of those mainstream anime you listed.

Yeah, I mean Solo Leveling wasn’t like my favorite or anything, but it was interesting. But I agree, mob psycho is perfect.
