Heya!
This morning, my fantasy/drama comic 'The Herald's Soul' reached its 1000 subscriber milestone on Webtoon!
I wanted to do something special to celebrate as a 'thank you' for new readers. I'll likely create an artwork to share at the end of my next update, but I was also considering doing drawing requests, a Q & A, or a DTIYS of my comic characters with art prizes on my Instagram.
My concern is that I have only four episodes complete so far and only three characters introduced (3 of 5 main protags). My comic is still young and I'm not even a fourth of the way through the first chapter/prologue. As fun as a Q & A or DTIYS would be, that fact kinda rules them out, considering there aren't many interesting questions one could ask so early on- and it'd only be a choice of three characters for the latter.
I've also been horribly negligent with my Instagram (last two posts were a year apart), and it'd be sad to start an event like this and have no one participate.
My questions for you:
How do you celebrate your comic milestones? Have you done any special events (Q & A, DTIYS, drawing requests, etc) and what was the response? Any other thoughts, ideas, or experiences to share? :]
I'd like to interact more with my readers and have fun extra content, but I'm not sure what people would be interested in seeing/participating in. This is my first comic and the first time I've had a real following on any platform, so I feel I have a lot to learn.
