In the states a pig is a farm animal and it's considered dirty and disgusting and people fear catching disease. You need a permit for them and you have to prove you own a farm. It sucks because they make great pets

Here it depends on the specific city you live and you need to be registered at some specific institution, but you don't need to own a farm really.

If I could change anything it would be the lack of empathy we have for others. Especially with the last election in the US, I feel people have no interest in walking in other people's shoes. Even if you have never experienced something personally, it doesn't mean it hasn't happened to other people and they deserve to be heard and listened to.

I'm sure that doesn't help for story ideas any.

On a less serious note- I would also change our dependence on cars. All self driving cars with autopilot. I hate driving. It makes me hate people... haha

I don't think the problem is money itself. The problem is greed.
If we get rid of money, something else will come along and those, who are now greedy bastards, will still be greedy bastards and we stay in the very same situation we are in now in.

I think money is a tool and not a goal and I wish more people (especially the wealthy ones) would recognize that and use their money to create rather than just aim for more profits and luxury good...
Maybe that's the thing I would change about society: create a new viewpoint of money and make people wanna earn money to create more things, rather than create things to become rich quick

I think every person should get a great education on their emotions. So many of the worlds problems are because of deep emotional suffering that the average individual has no ability to deal with.

I'd also somehow want people to appreciate the billions of people who are to be born who will have to live with the shameful state we've left the planet.

And while we're at it, I'd give everyone a Tesla model 3.

You got a good point there, @bear1 - I personally think there is plenty enoough of all of life's necessities, it's just not equally distributed, if there was a way to provide food, water and shelter to anyone who needs it, it would be a great step forward. If all these basic needs are covered, money is not that important anymore and I think people's opinion about it would change - at least gradually =)
