Hello! I'm new to tapas but I always had stories in my head and it was only this year that I decided to materialize them and have had very good results!
Webtoon did the Short Story contest and my comic Teluro (suspense/psychological) was selected as runner up!
A month later, Webtoons launched its Canvas platform for hispanic demographics along with a contest, in which, again, I got finalist with my comic Estrellas Vampiro/Vampire Stars (Mystery/Supernatural).
I'm happy to have achieved that, but I want much more
Here's the thing, although I love to imagine and write my stories (writing is equivalent to writing the storyboard tho) writing the dialogues is the hardestt thing for me, even in my native language (spanish, let alone in english). I feel (and I know) that my dialogues are static, not alive,non-natural, etc. ugh.
I was going to graduate in philosophy, have you ever read Nietzsche, Kant or Schopenhauer? Listen,those dudes clearly had no friends and neither do I! So I have barely to non knowledge about everyday human interaction. I only have the power of anime on my side.
What I look for:
- I will give you the general theme of the conversations and the necessary lines for each scene.
- YOU will develop and expand the dialogue.
AND
- Help me translate existing chapters in English. (I can translate them into English the best that I can and you would help me correcting/perfecting them).
Importan Points:
-As the title says, this is a UNPAID collab, but as soon as there is profit, we can talk.
-This is a long term comic, but if you can help me with just a couple of months I will be really grateful!
Title: Vampire Stars.
Genre: Mystery / Supernatural.
In his childhood, Kane (our protagonist), was tortured by his father. Looking to close those wounds, he returns to his hometown determined to kill him. Upon arriving, he discovers that his father died of a strange disease that is consuming the town and that an organization full of crazy and weird people is behind it.
His father's shadow will follow him until he uncover the root of everything.
Profile I prefer (NOT required):
-Over 18.
-Have some experience.
-Native English, Spanish as a second language.
