Alright, it's time for Dreams and Nightmares!
I'll be honest with you, this was a hard read for me . Romance as a standalone genre is not really something I like to read in general for personal past reasons (though in this case I haven't seen much of it because... I couldn't find it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it may be one of those stories where the romance grows slowly ).
That and the constant trauma train (which was a similar thing to a element that caused me to lose interest in a rp thread recently) didn't sit me well.
The main recurring theme, which is trauma, is handled with consistence through the chapters so that is a good thing . And the mc, Scarlet, gets enough exposition so we get to know her.
I do think she always seems to be in the spotlight. There is rarely a moment where she isn't involved in conversations. It may be interesting to have a chapter that focuses more on the supporting cast. Especially Jason, because I wish I'd have read more of him in the chapters.
I think your plotline is solid enough. From what I saw the character motivations make sense and the plot doesn't feel rushed so far.
Overall, even though I personally didn't enjoy it to the fullest, I think you have a solid story .
I hope the review wasn't too harsh.
