I'm seeing a lot of red flags here, and if I can be honest, I urge you research a little on teenage psychology and PTSD to be respectful to the people who have actually decided to end their lives through harassment, and not just for shock value/traumatic past. I'm not saying it's your intention, but you're walking a very thin line here, and I urge you to be careful and respectful.
I don't see how this is necessary considered "boy love", it sounds like a revenge story, and that's fine. But to say that Connor now has the ability to take his revenge on someone who is emotionally weaker, but will eventually turn into love is a sign of a very unhealthy and abusive relationship. The "falling in love with your abuser"/"I can fix him"/"it's okay because he's weaker now" tropes can be very impressionable to young people, and I urge you to reconsider re-writing some aspects if this is your goal. Especially using an already-marginalized gay community as the concept.
All things being said, you have an interesting idea and your art seems fine from what you've shown. I only hope you can keep in mind the comments expressed here.
