Nicely done @hierogriff! It's true that speech bubbles are a great way to lead the eye, provided that they are placed correctly. In the third panel, it was tedious as the eye of the reader comes from a position that is quite low already. Normally the reading sense is always from top left to down right (in western reading sense), but with such paneling it can make things a bit more tedious. It could have looked nice to have the "Dear gods!" panel more to the right, and the other one below more to the left, to lead the eye to the castle, but it would have been confusing regarding the reading sense (it would have been down left to top right, instead of the opposite).
Note that it's also possible to have the eye read from bottom to top if the composition still respects a left to right alignement. It can be a little tedious, but interesting in some situations, like on this page below (from Singmire Haze), in which the characters are falling, then going up.
It works especially well here on Tapastic because the reader have to scroll down and then up in order to read.
